To test your general
knowledge of current affairs, sports, science and technology,
literature, the arts and more, on 1st of every month afternoon,
we will bring you a monthly online quiz.
- Each quiz will have a set of 10 questions,
each with multiple-choice answers. Each correct answer carries
a value of 1 point. A participant can score a maximum of
10 points per quiz.
- Two winners will be chosen every month.
We will be giving away an Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary
(with CD) as the first prize and an Oxford Pocket Dictionary
as the second prize.
- The points won by a participant for
each quiz will not be carried over to the next quiz.
- Last date for receiving the entries
with answers is 1st of every month (up to 11.00 AM).
- We will be accepting only single entry
per individual.
- In case of tied scores, the computer
would draw the winner and the discretion of BCL authorities
remains final.
- The winner will be individually informed
through e-mail.
- The right answers and the list of
the winner of each quiz will be declared with a total new
set of questions on the 1st day of the subsequent month.
- Filling in a valid, consistent and
correct e-mail address in the quiz form is imperative. The
e-mail ID would be used to notify participants about the
results.
- BCL Network reserves the right to
terminate or extend the contest at any time, or to accept
or reject entries at its absolute discretion without assigning
any reason for the same. BCL Network's decision regarding
the contest will be final.
- This quiz is not open to employees
of British Council and their relatives.
